I was just browsing around and discovered the book "Paddling South Carolina:..." apparantly is the bible for, well, paddling South Carolina. I'd like to broaden my library in terms of nice writes about paddling, doesn't need to be specifically about SC- just a wealth of knowledge dedicated to paddling without 3/4 of the book targeting "Introduction to Kayaking: blah blah blah...".
Any suggestions?

Kayak Charleston
Ahoy,
Pick up a copy of Kayak Charleston by Ralph Earhart. The third edition, released in April 2008, lists over 100 paddle trips within an hour and a half drive from Charleston.
Ralph has paddled every trip in the book and provides waypoints and "turn at the old tree with the osprey next" directions.
The entire book is about paddling, not about selecting a kayak.
Most area bookstores have copies or you can order it at http://kayakcharleston.net/
