Details: The Berkeley Blueways is planning a work/paddling weekend on Coon Island in Lake Moultrie. The project will be the clean-up of several primitive camp sites along with building fire rings. There will be plenty of time for paddling along with some very worthwhile work projects. Bring what you need for overnight camping. If you want to participate and need a canoe or kayak contact Betty Delk at the Hell Hole Outdoor Center at 843-567-4480. The center will offer a special rental rate for the work project of $35 for a kayak or $45 for a canoe. This is a great opportunity for fun and making a contribution to the out of doors.
Directions: The Russellville Boat Landing is located west of Russellville on Secondary Road 204.
